Angelo Alcid is a 2013 graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law whose practice currently primarily consists of advising video game developers, tech startups, and nonprofit organizations in intellectual property and business law issues. Angelo also has experience working with the legal departments of companies such as Google, Yahoo!, and Bandai Namco Entertainment America, and often speaks at events such as PAX, TwitchCon, and SXSW about legal issues affecting the video game industry. An avid fan of video games and general pop culture, Angelo has been featured on the popular law blog Law and the Multiverse and currently serves on the board of the Pop Culture Hero Coalition, a non-profit organization that uses stories from pop culture make a stand against bullying.
