Ian Williams is the inaugural Fellow for the University of Michigan Law School’s Law & Mobility Program, and serves as Managing Editor of the Journal of Law & Mobility.
His current work focuses on the legal issues surrounding connected and automated vehicles, as well as other emerging mobility technologies.
In addition to his work on mobility, Ian is deeply interested in intersection between emerging technologies, privacy, civil liberties, and civil rights.
Ian received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review, and was a proud member of The Headnotes, Michigan Law’s premier (and only) a cappella group. He received a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
