Jadzia Butler graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in May 2015, where she was the student Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of National Security Law & Policy.
She is currently the Privacy, Surveillance & Security Fellow at the Center for Democracy & Technology. After her fellowship, she will be an associate at Covington & Burling, LLP. During law school, Jadzia participated in the Georgetown/MIT practicum, “Privacy Legislation: Law & Technology,” during which she helped devise privacy legislation for mobile health apps and wearables. She also served as a legal intern in the Spectrum Auction Division of the Federal Communications Commission. Jadzia looks forward to dedicating her career to the intersection of law, technology and public policy.
