Raymond A. Betancourt is a third-year law student at Florida State University College of Law, where he co-founded the Technology Entrepreneurship Club, which inspired the creation of an institute for law, technology, and innovation.
Born in Havana, Cuba, his commitment to inclusivity has been instrumental in his role as director of a downtown Miami tech company, where he worked with a diverse team to scale and automate data solutions.
Driven by a lifelong interest in technology, his recent project, Privity AI, won the Hofstra National Legal Innovation Tournament in 2023, aiming to make law accessible to all.
Raymond also worked as a summer associate at a large Florida firm, focusing on technology transactions and IP, and is a proud HNBA IP and Tech Law Scholar for 2023.
He enjoys playing pickleball competitively, basketball, and engaging in creative work and brand development.
